Project Update

This project is well underway. We have new plumbing going in. The electrical is being updated. Walls are in place and ready for the final electrical and plumbing so they can be closed off.

New plumbing

New plumbing is being installed throughout the house. This allows us to put bathrooms where we want along with where they make the most sense. We have our jack and jill bathroom upstairs which is in a brand new location. The master bath is also positioned and sized how we want it.

Another nice feature is that we have installed a washer and dryer hookup in the master closet. This way, the owners can avoid going into the basement where the existing hookups are. Those hookups will stay for convenience of the buyer.

New electrical

A house this old is bound to have some issues with old wiring. We are in the process of having the city do a walk through to make sure that everything is up to code. Our team would never want to stop our work to go back and fix a problem that should have been dealt with correctly the first time. Even worse, we would never want to hand that problem off to the end buyer.

Design

Our designer is currently getting everything finalized. We have our cabinets measured and ordered. The new cabinets are going to be a great quality and color for this house. The process for ordering appliances and finishing materials has also begun. This includes things like the floors and tile selections.

Our Team

Our team has been working extremely hard on this project. It is more impressive that they are doing it in the winter months without heat! The house stays colder than it does outside throughout the day. The team can not wait to get the forced air finished up, especially as the months continue to get colder.
