Kitchen and Bathroom space – Saint Paul

Our team is past the asbestos abatement and into the construction and build out. The new build out of this full house renovation will feature an enlarged kitchen, brand new master suite and added living space. Our team is very excited to get things built and moving forward.

Eliminating Stairs for Kitchen

This house had too many staircases for the modern home buyer. It had a second set of stairs leading to the basement off of the kitchen. This house also once had a second staircase leading to the top floor that was used only by children and staff (cool history lesson). This staircase space was previously converted into a powder room and small closet. The second basement staircase that was still in use when we purchased this house is now eliminated. Where the stairs were is now filled in and will be used as floor space to expand the kitchen. The area where the stairs were in the basement will now be a useful storage/closet space.

The new expanded kitchen area will give us enough room to include a sit in island for extra prep space and a place to eat. It will also allow us to incorporate a full line of luxury appliances which will include double ovens, six burner stove and two dishwashers. The extra space will be well used in what is going to be a beautiful kitchen.

 More Bathroom

We got rid of one upstairs bathroom and hall closet in order to expand the master bath. We can not wait to get the freestanding tub in to this space. We have created a new space for the second upstairs bath. It will be a Jack and Jill bathroom between the two other upstairs bedrooms. This will allow for plenty of bathroom space for everyone.

Never Enough Bedrooms

With the basement having plenty of room to work with, we had to make it more usable. The wall that once separated a utility room and storage room has been removed. Once we get the egress window, this space will make for a great fourth bedroom. This leaves three bedrooms upstairs and the fourth in the basement.
