House Design – University Pop Top Update

Interior Design For Flips

Our pop top project on University Blvd. in Denver, CO is still pushing forward. We are currently waiting for a few inspections to take place before removing the roof. In the meantime, we are in the process of picking out finishes for this property so we can have the whole house design in place. It is funny because this can be as big of a challenge as anything else in a flip. The resale has so much to do with the design of the house. In the past we have relied on people in our business to come up with the design. For this one, we are considering and looking into hiring a designer. This way, the professionals can worry about this phase of the flip so we do not spend countless hours deciding what color cabinet to put in.

For most of our projects, we enjoy picking the finishes and creating the house design. We have a system set up for our mid level homes in which the  house design is very quick and efficient. This will be a higher end home than the mid level fix and flips. For that reason, we need to make sure that our finishes align with what our end buyers expect. We strive to give a quality home in all price ranges that we work in. We are confident in our ability to design a house in any price range. The main concern is doing it in a timely manner.

Like mentioned before, our team can put the time in and design a house. We simply do not have that kind of time. We have talked with several interior designers that can make these decisions extremely efficiently. This allows us to put that time into other areas of our business. We can let the designer take the worry away of somewhat simple decisions like paint and floor color. It is also their concern to get the best bang for our buck. This is important to our business. It is more important that our end buyers get the best finishes possible.

With our end buyers wants and needs being most important, we are going to ensure that they get the house of their dreams when they purchase one of our homes.
