Project Update – Construction Begins

This house is past the demo phase, and is now in the building and construction stages. We are now putting walls where we want them and creating the best space possible. We have had interested buyers walk the property. Our designer is working to make it a wonderful looking and feeling home.

Construction

Now that everything we want out of the house is out, we can begin building and creating what we want. We know that in this neighborhood, the age of the houses make for smaller kitchens. With a wall now removed and a main floor powder room relocated, we are able to create the kitchen space that we and our end buyers can truly appreciate.

The previous owners of this property were able to add a master bathroom. It was way too small for our standards. We combined the two upstairs bathrooms along with a closet to create a great space for a 5 piece master bath. Of course we relocated the second upstairs bath so that the two other bedrooms will have a larger and more usable space.

Potential Buyers

While it is hard for buyers to envision everything that we plan on doing, we have had a lot of interest in this house. The main reason is the size and location. This is located in Congress Park which is on the North side of the Cherry Creek neighborhood. It is always great hearing what buyers would like to see before we begin or finish the build out or construction phase. This allows us to adjust if we think that there is something else we should incorporate into our plans.

Designer

While our team has designed successfully, we wanted to bring in a true designer during our construction portion of the project. She has been wonderful in helping us look at spaces differently and getting the best uses out of them. She will also be instrumental in making sure that our finishes are top notch.

Moving Forward

As this project gets into construction, we are extremely excited to see everything come back together. This house is going to look incredible in just a short time from now.
